In 2002, a team of specialists working with fruit and vegetable crops in Illinois was organized, which is called "Fruit and Vegetable Crops Task Force (FVCTF)". The primary goal of FVTSF is to improve yield, quality, and marketing of Illinois fruit and vegetable crops. Some of the achievements of FVCTF are establishing team projects on research/extension, organizing meeting for Illinois growers, and conducting a statewide survey on specialty crops. The activities of the FVCTF are coordinated by M. Babadoost. |
