I. Bacterial Diseases of Tomato

Major bacterial diseases of tomato in Illinois are: bacterial spot, bacterial speck, and bacterial canker. During the past three weeks, all three bacterial diseases have been observed in Illinois. To reduce the losses to these bacterial diseases, commercial tomato fields can be sprayed with a copper fungicide plus chlrothalonil at weekly intervals.
