I. Powdery Mildew, Downy Mildew, and Bacterial Spot in Pumpkin Fields

Powdery mildew, downy mildew, and bacterial spot diseases have already been detected in pumpkin fields in various parts of Illinois. Spray applications will be needed to keep these diseases under control. A weekly spray application of Pristine (or Cabrio or Quadris) + copper (Cuprofix, Kocide-200,...) alternated with Bravo Weather Stik + copper should be effecitve against all above-mentioned three diseases and other fungal and bacterial diseases as well. II. Illinois 2004 Pumpkin Day

Illinois 2004 Pumpkin Day will be held at the Uinversity of Illinois Horticulture Research Station at St. Charles (near Chicago) on September 9, 2004. More information on the Pumpkin Day will be available later.
