I. Illinois Summer Hort. Day Illinois Summer Horticulture Day was held held at Eckert's Orchard near Belleville, Illinois, on June 17, 2004. Growers, extension specialists, and commercial exhibitors from Illinois and neighboring states participated in the event. This was a very exciting Summer Horticulture Day. II. Peach Diseases Peach scab and peach bacterial spot have
already been observed in Illinois. Peach scab has been observed in a
couple of orchards. But, peach bacterial spot is already a wide-spread
disease in Illinois. In fact, bacterial spot of peach is the most important
