I. Cucurbit Diseases in
Illinois - Powdery Mildew Powdery mildew, caused by the fungi Podosphaera
xanthii (syn. Sphaerotheca fuliginea) and Erysiphe cichoracearum, is
one of the important diseases of cucurbits in the Midwest. It occurs
