II. Bacterial Spot of Cucurbits

After heavy rains in mid September, bacterial spot of cucurbits have developed in some pumpkin fields in Illinois. Since pumpkin crop is ready to harvest in almost all of the fields, the most effective practice to prevent your pumpkins from rotting is to keep the fruit in dry conditions.
